Love the quilt, I think this would be as confusing to put together as the Drunkard's Path my Nana made.
I'm sure you are exhausted! Are you also sad? That is a great looking scrappy quilt. I think I probably say that every time you show it, but I love the way it looks.
Love the way the quilt is turning out. Congrats on getting all of hte packing done.
Packing is hard work, so congrats on finishing. It will be fun to find all those things you forgot you had once you do settle down in a new home. Your building blocks quilt is looking wonderful, and I'm wowed that you're hand-stitching it!
Your quilt is giving me itchy fingers: hand piecing is so meditative, and I love your scrappy interpretation of the design.
Thanks everyone. The quilt is progressing slowly at the moment, but I'm expecting to be able to spend more time on it after we move, although I have the 2015 CQJP hand stitched quilt to finish too.I'm not really sad about leaving the farm, it's been a great 12 years here, and my boys have turned into men while we've been here. The farm will always hold many memories for us, but I am very excited about the next stage of our life, when Tony and I go on yet another adventure together. You should see the smile on my face ;)
I so admire your love story!
