Susan: CQJP2015: October Seams

First, September, with all the embellishing:

First two seams on October:

Seam 53, inspired by a seam on Kathy Shaw's September blocks:

Seam 54, inspired by mostly nothing. A desire to use a particular template from Carole Samples' template set, one I don't get to use very often, number 4 C.

Very nice! This is going to be a fabulous quilt. How do you count your seams?

September is fabulous and October is looking pretty spiffy too. Love those elongated pearls!

To answer Judy's question, I have counted each seam since the beginning of the project - one seam = one line of stitching, no matter how many embellishments - though when I had two rows of feather stitching on a seam, I only counted that as one seam. The corners are counted separately, unless they are part of a seam stitching, which happened once on this year's project. So 54 seams and maybe 23 corners, so far. I count each year's project separately.
