Susan: CQJP2015

May Block finished:

June Block - I got a small start! Two seams, one not yet finished.

Seam 39 is a little odd - didn't work quite the way I expected:

Seam 40 didn't work out as planned, either. I meant to use French knots to make sort of curved designs out from each Feather Stitch, but it wound up looking like a mess of French knots, so I took it out, a rare thing for me. I have bugle bead plans next.

The May block is wonderful, can't decide if I like the blue section with the ferny loops or the corner with the white sprays the best.

Sometimes the ones that don't follow the plan turn out the best!

I really like the white sprays in the blue corner. When I saw the red border, I started singing, "Hands Up, Hands Up"! lol Failed plans create unique opportunities........

You might have noticed that I 'stole' your wavy line design (May block) and sort of redesigned it a bit on my Orange block. Thanks for that one!
You are only a couple of seams ahead of me on the June block, lol, as my orange block is my CQJP for May. Funny how the months pass so quick and we are trying to catch up with them all time.

Love the blue corner on the finished block! Misbehaving seams or not, I like what you've done so far on teh June block.

Congratulations on your finished block. I also like the white on blue in the corner: nice stitching and the color contrast really makes it pop.

Love it! I wish my stitching would misbehave so well! Your stitching is always beautiful, Susan.
