Susan: One Seam

This started with crow's foot. It isn't commonly used, but I liked it. I found it in Victorian Elegance by Lezette Thomason. The book has lovely pictures that are too small to see anything, and some basic diagrams, plus it has a tear-out pattern page. Usually, I don't see crow's foot embellished, but I thought in this larger size, it was too plain not to have embellishment. I may still go back and add some beads on the seam. We'll see.

Very nice! It's easy to see where that stitch got its name, isn't it?

I don't think I've seen crow's feet before (in stitches, that is)It's a nice stitch, and very pretty in that thread.

What a beautiful stitch that crow's foot is. A new one to me too. I am in awe of your vintage book collection too. You always seem to find amazing and lovely stitches to use.
