Angela ~ Summer Daisies

Summer is a colorful piece, red poppies or cosmos (not sure which) and white daisies and it has 2 busy bees, only one showing so far.

And here's part of why I am not stitching quite so much:
cabbages and cauliflower, beans popping up, potato plants spilling over the bed.  And I have put in a new flower bed out front.  It looks rough right now, not quite complete but I'm pretty happy with it...except for hauling 40 pound bags of soil around.

Love that greenery! Just talked to my sis and it's snowing in MPLS! Your summer piece is lovely. How big is the whole thing? Are you going to frame it or?

Summer looks good. You've made a lot of progress toward finishing this set of stitcheries. The plants look so pretty!

Judy, it will be 14" square and I will frame it if I either find a frame or can afford to have one made or I make one myself. So far it looks like I will try making one myself from scrap wood. I was a professional picture framer for over 12 years a ways back, but I've not made a frame from scratch before.

Summer looks like a lot of fun there with the yummy goodies coming up in the garden. Great progress on the stitching.

Lovely additions to Summer, and it's nice to see a bit of wildlife (the bee).
Your cabbage patch is lovely, they look like specimen cabbages. Great job.
