Judy ~ Better Late than Never?

Lady Kina is progressing nicely which is a good thing since we are heading toward mid-July, and she needs to be done by the end of the month!  My, the summer is just flying by, even faster than it usually does.  We have been blessed with unusually nice weather this month, and the garden chores keep multiplying, so knitting/stitching time has been mainly in the evenings.

The pattern is worked from the top down, and the sleeves have been completed so there are fewer stitches now for the endless rows of stockinette.  This photo is from a few days ago, and now I'm almost down to the bottom border! Hurrah!  This sweater is the perfect place for a very special button my sister brought me from their Alaska trip a couple years ago.  If you want to read about it and what else I've been up to, check my blog. Otherwise, see you in a couple of weeks as we are going to be without computer access until the 23rd. Ciao!

That is an unusual and interesting baleen button Judy. The grey/blue shade goes well with your wool colour.
Looking forward to your updated Lady Kina when you get back online.
Enjoy the garden ;)

Lady Kina is lovely in that shade of blue, and I think that special button will do it proud. Congrats on your win--the wee quilt is very nice. Enjoy the garden and your time off until your computer access is resolved.
