Then to add either french knots or beads for the center.
Hope you're having a creative week!
i like the yellow flower you've started. What stitch are you using for that?
It might be 6 of one and ½ dozen of the other on the petal arrangement.
It's a needle woven picot that I found on Pinterest, from Mary Corbett.
Very nice, those types of stitches are fiddly and making them match is hard for me, you did a great job!
Love your needle-woven petals. It's a favourite stitch of mine as it is so very textured. You have done yours so perfectly. Great job.
Your stitching is lovely all around. This block is off to a strong start.
Beautiful; love the petals. I'd love to see a second row but beads or french knots would be lovely too.
You could create a second row inside the first, centering the inner row's petals between two petals of the first row. That would create quite a bit of dimension. Then you might want to pad the center before doing the FK's. If you wanted to make an outer row, I would suggest tacking down the first row and covering it to avoid piercing your petals as you work. Super job on the woven picots!
* tacking down the first row in the flower center, and covering........
Fabulous stitching, Fitzy! I love this block!
