Fitzy - Certified CRAZY!

Just to let you know...I will try most anything. Discovery is worth the risk. Perfection is over-rated. (Do you REALLY think I believe that last statement?!!!)
I'm trying to figure out how to add an inner row of petals, but it just dawned on me that an additional OUTER row would be easier! No?

Then to add either french knots or beads for the center.

Hope you're having a creative week!

i like the yellow flower you've started. What stitch are you using for that?

It might be 6 of one and ½ dozen of the other on the petal arrangement.

It's a needle woven picot that I found on Pinterest, from Mary Corbett.

Very nice, those types of stitches are fiddly and making them match is hard for me, you did a great job!

Love your needle-woven petals. It's a favourite stitch of mine as it is so very textured. You have done yours so perfectly. Great job.

Your stitching is lovely all around. This block is off to a strong start.

Beautiful; love the petals. I'd love to see a second row but beads or french knots would be lovely too.

You could create a second row inside the first, centering the inner row's petals between two petals of the first row. That would create quite a bit of dimension. Then you might want to pad the center before doing the FK's. If you wanted to make an outer row, I would suggest tacking down the first row and covering it to avoid piercing your petals as you work.
Super job on the woven picots!
