Deborah: Late Post

No stitching - embroidery-wise - this weekend which was spent finishing up The Dress (which I understand was a big success at The Wedding), doing yard work, and starting on Dress Number Two for the Chicago Wedding.  I did a little stitching on the CQ but there are other things that need attention right now. Like the yard - it's mulch time.

I know this isn't stitch rel

I like the plant, too! I hope you're getting photos of your dresses in action! Our garden is hollering also; it's that time of year, isn't it? Hard to ignore, too.

Good to hear that the 1st dress was well received. Looking forward to a pic of it.
Love the Fleur-de-lis on your pot. It could be stitch related if you use the design in embroidery, lol.

So happy the dress was a hit! Looking forward to photos in action.
Yes, yard work.....the weeds are winning the war, and we're not getting any rain, so watering in earnest will soon begin....still have seeds to plant, too.......

Yes, I started to say that this isnt' really a stitch-related post but brother was it a busy week & weekend, getting that dress finished, hemmed - and guess what; I was short of hem tape by about 12 inches, had to haul myself to Joanns, andthe closest one is 20 miles from me. Nothing closer had anything close to that color. As it was, I had to use an almost hot pink but it blended in well. I have asked Judy for a photo of her in her dress and finery. Promise to get back on the embroidery this week.
