Susan: 1 Embellishment, 1 Seam

Not catching up very fast. The tree now has tons of French knots, 5 different pinks, 5 different flosses and 1 Sassa Lynne used. The floss was used 2 strand, and all the knots are double wraps.

Such a sacrifice on your part to work with the pink threads. I'm surprised you had them in your stash. ;-) Looks really good tho. =)

Thanks! They came from Fran's stash, and her mom, except for the Sassa Lynne, and I had no choice when I ordered all those skeins and split them up for everyone! LOL But the trees on the block here are pink flowering - redbuds and tulip trees - so I had to be authentic. The white pears wouldn't have shown up.

That is a beautiful amount of cherry blossom on your tree, and so much variety in the threads.
The small seam is unusual and delicate as it is but I can see how some more small beads would give it a little bit of a 'lift'.

I like seam #58, and your tree is Lookin' Good!

The tree is fantastic! Looks just like the redbuds that are in bloom here.

You did a great job in capturing the redbud tree! They are so pretty! Seam 58 is very nice; love the round beads. We've got lots of pink "snow" around here as the flowering plums start to lose their blossoms. I absolutely love spring!

I like how the tree's blossoms extend into the lace border. Very pretty work!

Your tree is so pretty! Yes, white blossoms may have been a less-stellar idea, but beautiful nonetheless. Our Spring is pretty much in full force, I've even noticed a few buds forming on the Saguaros.
