Angela ~ On the Downhill Slide

I'm almost there with writing names on my quilt top.  I will be finished by next week for certain!

I've taken advantage of the warm days by working in the yard/garden so that slowed me down some.  We get glorious sunny days up to 84 degrees and the very next day is 19 and snowing.  This is Texas!

Still no word on a job and I was told I would be called either way.......  Onward!

I hope you hear something positive on that job, or another one, soon. I know you loved being out in the garden!

Hope the job comes through for you.

Yes take advantage of the good weather to get the garden work done. It's been too hot here for working outside until today, but now it is raining, lol, so I still cant see to the garden. Not complaining though because the garden and fields desperately need water.

Hope you hear about the job soon! Sounds like your weather has been really unpredictable which makes for hard gardening.

I'd love to be in the garden but I'm not slogging it out with the snow.....lol....Hope the weird weather doesn't wreak havoc with your gardening. Fingers crossed you hear real soon, and you get the job!

We need rain so desperately. We have been in a drought for several years and the lake has dropped over 30 feet, you can walk across it, on dry land in some places. And it's where drinking water comes from. Scary.

Good luck with the job prospect, and in the meantime, enjoy your projects.

Waiting patiently for Spring to arrive has got to be tough. Folks are all about planting here, our tree in the front is all newly leafed out, and our orange tree is all budded out...smells divine. Can't wait to see how your quilt is progressing.
