Deborah: R&W CQ Progress

Running late as usual, but here are some shots of the CQ blocks I've been working on. Sticking to red & white and just simple seed beads for the most part,

Wonderfully cohesive, and your stitching is beautiful! This is stunning.
What's the blue in the top photo?

This is going to be stunning when finished. Great use of your color pallette in it.

Really nice work here Deborah!

I think that's her blue wash out marker marking where things go. Good idea!

Just gorgeous all around!

Oh I am still so in love with your reds. Great work on the stitch combinations on each seam. Love your mix-and-match stitch treatments.

Right - just to see if I can fit in the stitiches evenly. Spacing is not one of my strong points.

Thanks, everyone.

Wonderful blocks, Deborah. I always forget that buttonhole stitching can go the other way very effectively. Thanks for the reminder. My favorite seam this time is the chain with the French knots, and I suspect that will show up somewhere on Aunt Bobbie's block. I love how these blocks look.

And I loved seeing photos where someone else still had the marks showing! =)

I love the simplicity of the red & white, this is really lovely. I've got lots of studying to do!
