Barbara's Zig Zag Afghan

This one's done.  This is a very satisfying project if you like to play with color.

And Michael said he wanted it.  Now it lives in his man cave.

I feel inspired to make more blankets and afghans, and I've got an acrylic stash to work with.  There may be another one before long.

I bet one of the reasons Michael likes this afghan is because it is long! The colors look so fabulous on his dark chair.

Where did you get that nifty corner shelf? I need one of those for my breakfast area.

It looks great! Isn't it a nice feeling when someone WANTS something you've created?

Very cozy and warm, perfect for curling up in come the colder days.

That little shelf was Michael's doing. I'm not sure where he got it, but I'll ask.

Amen. Half the time I'm asking myself what I'm going to do with the things I've made.

I love the way the colors worked out on this. You must have quite a stash of acrylic yarns of nice colors! How much yarn do you figure this took?
