Judy-No Stitching from Me

The week slipped away without my stitching anything. Sigh.  I did finish a knitting project for a choir friend with breast cancer, and then on Sunday felt like a real idiot when I brought a hand knit girly gift to a baby shower for a boy.  (No boy memo came my way, but the mom had told me it was a girl. Wonder when that changed?) So guess what I'm working on now?  Off to the hospital soon though to volunteer. Have a great day!

I think that counts as finishing a UFO. :-) Look forward to next week's stitching.

Have a great day, too, Judy. Now you have a gift all ready for the next little baby girl.

Did you take the baby gift home and promise another one? Not sure what I would have done.

I didn't...was too surprised to think of that. I'm wondering whether I can ask her to trade? Or is that too tacky? (I already feel bad.)

I'm not sure what I would have done in that situation either.
Hope you have a better stitching week ahead.

Either ask for a trade or you might make something else (more masculine) and then ask her to please pay it forward with the girl gift to someone who might really need it.

Then, go stock up on green and yellow yarn! Ha!

Already did, but it's green and blue. The hat's done; now onto something for the feet.

I am not sure what I would have done either! Happy knitting.

Eh. Girl. Boy. What's the dif? LOL From now on, only green or yellow, and only things either one could use! I would have taken the girly gift anyway, had I been the mom, and been happy about it. =) Ask to trade. I don't think that's tacky at all!
