A Little Progress from Judy

Magic is done and Noel is on the way. Noel is the last one; then I can sash them all. Yay!

The pattern shows the green vine running behind the flowers. Do you think that looks weird?

No, I don't think it looks weird, your flowers are growing over the vine. Very pretty.

Agree.

I, on the other hand, would probably have had no green vine showing through the white flowers - which doesn't mean it looks weird. =) I love the look of these blocks, always have. It's a beautiful design, beautifully executed. I only realized with this post that all the words don't have the same flowers!

The "curly-tailed" font used throughout these is lovely.
The green vine behind the white flowers doesn't bother me, but if you wanted to hide it you could just thread a small piece of white lace behind the flower (and over the vine) and stitch it in place with French Knots, or running stitch.

Or you could use a ribbon gathered up as a flower, with beads for the center, and that would cover the vine, if you find you don't like it showing through the flowers. Looking forward to seeing these pretty pieces all sashed.

Hmmmmm... I am leaning toward ripping it out. Oh, and I got SBS back from my friend today, and she did a great job. Now to bind it.

I would love to see SBS finished for next week's Reveal!

Don't rip it out--life is short. Your UFO list is long.

You are sure right about my list. How'd you know that? ;>)

These blocks are really charming. I can't wait to see your finished SBS. Maybe it will inspire me for my own quilt kit.
