Carolynn--knotted buttonhole

Not a lot of stitching for me this week!  Just a quick seam with knotted buttonhole, and the beginnings of oyster stitch on the next seam.  It's time for granddaughter's Halloween costume! Perhaps I'll include a picture when it's done!

Any progress is good progress! Keep stitching!

Love your colours, so rich. The gold oyster can't be easy to stitch using metallic thread, but there's nothing quite like it to glitz to your stitching. Believe me, after Vegas I know these things! Great combo of knotted buttonhole with the oyster stitch.

I really like the oyster with the knotted buttonhole. That's going to be a great combination!

I agree about the KBH and the oyster combo: it has a nice, balanced look about it. I love the metallic bits in this block, from the lace piece to the seams to the gold in the ivy fabric. Your colours are rich and the block looks luxurious.

Lots of sparkly goodness happening on this block. Gotta love metallic threads. I've done something similar to your 'double-diamonds' (top right) on my Sept block, lol, great minds think alike eh! (mine are 'double-triangles though).

Wow! These are perfect fabrics and colors together. Your stitching adds just the right touch.
