Judy~ My Bad......

Don't know about the rest of you, but my needle sat idle all week....embroidery needle, that is. Check out my blog to see what I've been doing or not. Wonder what the next stitch will be? I have already picked this month's Sue and am ready.

I caught up on the August block, finally. Now I still have to make September's!

Don't feel bad Judy, I am feeling guilty too about not getting much stitching done this week. It may be that we have all got a little bit blasé with the CQJP and TAST stitches, or maybe we have been inundated and overwhelmed with other projects. That's my theory anyway about how I'm feeling at the moment. It has been a long year for stitching the same project, and I'm not used to projects taking that long to complete. I just want it finished now lol.

I really struggled with August and felt I was having to force myself. There are now other projects I would like to sew, but 4 months of TAST remain. Don't think there is an answer, but a case of "I've started so I'll finish" (at least I hope so). The upside is that when I began another cq project this week I did seem to sew with more confidence. As to September's block, well I'll see what Sunday brings.

I had to use the week for other quilting projects with immediate deadlines. But, I anticipate finishing with a flourish when the year is over.
I will say that having a different colored block each month was a great idea. It felt like a new project every 4 weeks.

Yes, it kind of seems like we're all running out of steam. Having a weekly "assignment is a good motivator, but I'm getting kind of sick of Sue..... ;-)

Hey, that's what a catch-up week is for, right? taking a break and refocusing!

Did the break but not sure about the refocus part. LOL
