Susan: July CQJP

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Hopefully, I'll be ready with a finished block on Saturday afternoon.

Love all those detached chain flowers, and what cute heart buttons they are. Perfect addition to the feather stitch area. I also like the bead embellishment on the lace at the bottom.
Looking good Susan.

Look at those sweet heart buttons!!

Who could resist those buttons? They act as lovely flowers for your feather stitch stems. The bead embellished lace looks so very delicate and light as a fairy!

Those heart button flowers are delightful. I really like the lace, too. This block has a very nice feeling about it.

The heart buttons are adorable but my favorite in this shot is the lacy fence with the blue beads. I just know there's a fairy hiding behind it somewhere.

Beautiful stitching, Susan. I love your feather stitch with the heart flowers, and Angela's fence. That top seam is very nice also.

Thanks, everyone. I was trying to think of something to do at the top of that lace, and nothing seemed right, so I left it alone. Sometimes nothing is just the right choice! I loved those buttons and I've been saving them for YEARS for the right spot.
