Your colours are wonderful and such a cute fairy. Peach and turquoise seam treatment looks like little fairies bending over, the detached chain being their wings and the beads their heads. There your fans straight stitches?

I can see the beginning of another delicate block here. Pretty can seam treatment!

I couldn't edit that to Fan. Sorry!

Very pretty, Susan! I love all your fairies! The stitching, too!

Yes, the fans are straight stitches. I marked V's with the Samples templates, and then eyeballed the 5 stitches. Afterward, I drew the curvy line from the templates and stitched over them.

I didn't think of the fairies bending over, but with your description, it's easy to see!

I love the Carole Samples' inspired stitch combinations! The fans with the curved line down the middle is especially beautiful. And what a nice white flower motif, too!

Fabulous block Susan. Lovely colours, and I really like that large white flower embellishment.
You are getting some intriguing seam treatments here. Can't wait to see more.

Oooh, I love that fan seam treatment. I love the fabrics, and the fairy, and the lace flower. This is a wonderful start!
