Carol - TAST - Oyster Stitch

Oyster Stitch using perle 5 with straight stitch and detached chain in perle 8.
In my practice piece I struggled with keeping the loop around stitch secure.

Are they beads or glowworms I see?  Sarah must have been navigating through caves at Waitomo!

Looks great to me! What's your secret on securing the loop? I fought with that also.

If I had one I'd certainly share, but it did seem to work better when I made the stitches smaller.

Lovely oyster stitching Carol. If Sarah is at the Waitomo caves she is getting slightly nearer to visiting me, lol.

What a great way to use the stitch. Love your flowers, and I'm thinking . . . definitely fireflies!
