Judy ~ No Stitching in MN

We just got home late last night, and I'm looking forward to getting caught up with what you've all been doing while we were gone.  Our reunion was great fun; the weather didn't turn sour until all the kids left.  Perhaps you read about the flooding in Duluth.  They had 10 inches of rain in one day and very serious flooding.  We were enroute to my sister's cabin and got a taste of the flooded streets in Grand Rapids and then again on the way back with a 50 mile detour.  It was quite an adventure for us but will take folks in the affected area a long time to recover.  Back to unpacking, etc.

Great to hear you got home safely Judy. What a shame about all that flooding though.

Welcome back safe and sound. Re-entry seems to be the worst. So unfortunate for those affected by the flooding. Again, parts of the country are so dry and in need of rain, especially Colorado with their fires. It is too bad there isn't a way to even things out so we were all happy and safe from disaster.

It is GOOD to be home, but it's chilly here and feels more like fall than summer. Great stitching weather which is good because I have some serious catching up to do.

Welcome back Judy, and enjoy the "stitching weather," which extends all the way to my neck of the woods. I don't think my garden will produce any tomatoes this year.

I would take your cooler weather this week. Glad you survived the Great Flood of 2012, and are safely home.
