Debra: TAST-Buttonhole Wheels

Buttonhole Wheels are easy, fun and pack some punch! Love 'em!

These were stitched on my TX Mockingbird Panel.

I too love your buttonhole wheels especially worked in such a pretty thread. The TX Mockingbird double stacked green are very effective and the blue ones have me wanting more, truly inspiring, now where can I put some?

I bet you can find a spot!

Nice work! I think I should use thicker thread, my wheels look a bit wimpy.

All are very pretty Debra. I love the variegated threads. They seem to make any stitch look even more attractive. I don't know why I haven't used this stitch more because I really like it.

There are so many ways to use this stitch and you have some great variety here Debra.
I particularly like the blue wavy one at the bottom.
Will be watching out for more of this stitch on your other blocks.

I especially love the buttonhole wheels in the variegated thread! What a lovely colorway. :)
I also like the raw-edged ruched strip of fabric you have tacked down above the blue buttonhole wheels

That ruched strip is from the hem of a vintage barkcloth curtain. I am scrimping to use every little bit of it where ever I can!
