Debra-Tast: Running Stitch

I had quite a few deadlines and commitments this past week that pulled on my needle. None of them required using the running stitch! Having just come out of a 6 week study of the running stitch, I am going to cheap out and post some of my favorite applications from the Stitch 12 lessons. These are threaded, interwoven and laced running stitches. These are really fun to stitch!

Great examples. I will have to add those to my tag at some point.

I especially love the last three!

Very easy and pretty impressive for the little amount of work they take to stitch. They are just as easy on regular cloth too.

Good idea!

Nice examples Debra! I really enjoyed the weaving and interlacing I did on mine. Your colour combination in the second row is smokin'!

That first one really caught my eye. I like that look and will try it. I've done nothing this week, so this afternoon is my last chance!

I know-- it was a cheap shot but it's been a busy week.

When I see something like this, then I see the usefulness of stitching a sampler. Someday. I love the variety of your examples.
